A warm welcome awaits

At Winchcombe Day Care Centre our aim is to provide care that promotes the physical, emotional and general well-being of older people within our community, and help support their families & carers.

The Centre is a special place where members can meet during the day to share the company of friends in a safe and supported environment and enjoy a two-course lunch and refreshments.

We’re proud to offer a caring service to those who may feel socially isolated, are moderately disabled, have memory loss, or are simply frail, elderly and less able to get around.

We know that having the opportunity to socialise, re-kindle old friendships, make new ones, and take part in recreational activities can prove a real boost to an older person’s quality of life.

Our members are invited to take part in a variety of both stimulating and fun activities run by our professionally-trained staff and dedicated volunteers. Sessions involving gentle exercise, craft work, board and card games, music and singing, as well as celebration parties and trips to local attractions, all make up part of the Centre’s busy calendar.

Our service also offers respite for families and carers who can relax in the knowledge that their loved one is having a day out in safe surroundings and is being well looked after.
